Real Estate Services oversees the University’s extensive portfolio of land and buildings. Our three main locations are Mason Square, Fairfax and Science and Technology campuses along with several other satellite locations.
About the locations:
- Mason Square located at 3401 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA is approximately 5 acres of urban campus with 3 University Owned buildings.
- Fairfax Campus located at 4400 University Drive, Fairfax, VA is approximately 656 acres of University Owned space and approximately 86.9 acres of Foundation owned space.
- Science and Tech Campus located at 10900 University Boulevard, Manassas, VA is approximately 136 acres and our Biomedical Research Lab site is approximately 10 acres.

André Kinney is the Director of Real Estate for the Fairfax and Prince William campuses. In this capacity, he leads efforts to align the University’s real estate assets with mission, strategic intent, and participates in the collective efforts associated with the Universities Master Plan work. André joins the University with more than 30 years of real estate experience including strategy, development, transactions, and management. He previously served as COO and Director of Asset Management for Real Estate Capital Partners and led the team responsible for all facets of strategy and oversight of a $7 billion US real estate portfolio. André has been a professor in the GMU MRED program, as well as a guest lecturer at Georgetown and the University of Wisconsin for real estate students.
